2. "A Day in My Life" Clocks Project - 8 points - Projects category
Students will either make a poster or mini book advertising a regular day in their life. This can either be a weekday or weekend day. Students will draw MULTIPLE clocks (AT LEAST 6-8 clocks) from morning to night that are complete. Each clock should have a different time, and students will explain next to each clock what they are doing during that time of the day. Explanations need to be in complete sentences and should have correct spelling and grammar. Explanations must also include a picture. There should also be variety in times shown on the clocks. Example: every clock cannot be right on an hour. There needs to be times utilizing the minute hand. Examples: 8:30, 10:25, 2:40, 4:00 are times that show variety. This project should be neat, organized, and in readable handwriting. Students should also use their drawing and art skills to make their project more interesting. Color is required. I will not grade on a student's artistic ability, but I would like to see that they at least tried and put effort into their work. Be creative! Rubric utilized: Medium Projects Rubric without presentation portion.
